🏆 The Most Joyful Awards Night Yet
This month we celebrated our End of Year Social, and honestly - it was pure magic. ✨
🍷 First up was Andy’s iconic Wine & Cheese Night, where we slowed down, reconnected, and snacked with enthusiasm. Adam from Sheffield Theatres’ charity shared a powerful talk that reminded us what community can do.
Then came the first ever Sheffield Business Awards - and let’s just say... we peaked.
From golden medals and rogue nominations to emotional first-time meetups and heartfelt reunions, it was the kind of night that made you laugh, cry, and question how this gang got so good at semi-formal sparkle.
The energy? Unmatched.
The support? Unmistakable.
The outfits? Surprisingly impressive.

November brought more race-day energy than you’d expect from a crew who claim to hate early mornings. From the Doncaster 10K to frosty local efforts, you showed up with cold fingers and full hearts.
And now, a little spotlight on one of our own:
🎉 One of the SBR gang is doing his first ever race – the STAMPEDE at Graves Park January 25th 2026.
A 90 minute team race with 25 locations, points to be gained, and bonus points to be won. Highest total wins.
He says he feels like a kid planning a birthday party - nervous about who’s actually going to turn up. So if you’re free, let’s give him the SBR support he deserves.

💼 Gang Shoutouts – Jack & Andy Edition
🎉 Jack launched his new consultancy business! He’s officially stepped into the world of self-employment, and we couldn’t be prouder. From Thursday runs to launching something big - Jack’s smashing it, on and off the track.
💙 Andy’s technically recovering from surgery, but was still in better post-social shape than half the group chat. Proof that even in recovery, he’s outperforming most of us. Fully expect him to return stronger, faster, and with even more holidays booked!

Because in life… shift happens.
This January, we’re kicking off the year with a 30-day challenge designed to help you reset your mind, move your body, and start strong—with zero pressure, and full gang support.
Over 30 days, we’ll hold each other accountable to simple daily habits that make a big difference:
- 🥦 Avoid ultra-processed food
- 💧 Drink 2–2.5L of water
- 🚫 Skip the substances (booze, vapes, smokes… you know the drill)
- 🔕 Quit or cut back on something you overdo (scrolling, spending, snacks—you pick)
