The Great Escape Game is a new and exciting live escape room experience blurring the lines between the hum-drum of everyday life and the world of video games and movies! You and your friends, family or work colleagues are locked in a room with up to an hour to escape. Escape games last up to an hour depending on if you are successful in escaping. If you do escape in time, you will go down in history on our wall of fame. We advise that you arrive 20 minutes early to be briefed on your game, have a chance to play our arcade games and order any food and drinks.

Our exciting escape rooms start from just £17 per person depending on the size of your group and which game takes your fancy. To make your day even more exciting, we offer food and drinks packages including pizza and cocktails.

Discounts are unable to be stacked, so it wouldn’t come off any packages or special offer tickets or tickets that are already discounted!
To secure your slot we would at least require a deposit with final payment due 2 weeks prior to the event date! If the event is less than 2 weeks away, we require payment in full to book you in!
Nope! To qualify for the per person student price, each player must have a valid ID!
Any card from your educational institution with a picture and expiry date, or apps like UniDays, Student Beans etc!
Yep! As long as you have a valid Student ID you can redeem this at any time!

The rooms have been designed with your safety in mind. Furthermore, there are no physically strenuous elements to any of our codes and puzzles. You are monitored by our staff at all times and free to leave the room whenever you like.
This shouldn’t be an issue, as the rooms are average sized and the ceilings are quite high. Players are also permitted to leave the game at any point they wish. If you have any particular requirements please get in touch and we will talk to you a little about our games and try to accommodate you as much as we can!
If you have allergies or specific dietary requirements, let us know. Whether it’s vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten free or anything else, we’re here to help where we can.
If you have epilepsy or suffer from seizures, we’d recommend speaking to someone from our team to ensure we’re able to understand your needs and can recommend the best experience to accommodate you.

All players must arrive 15 minutes before for games at our Sheffield Generation 1 site, and 20 minutes before for games at our Sheffield Generation 2 and Leeds site. This time is an opportunity to play some of our Arcade Games and also have a drink/snack, should you wish. You can also use this time to ask any questions, sign our waiver form, put your belongings away and use the toilet. We aim to start your game at your booked time slot.

This experience is located at our Sheffield Venue – St James House, Vicar Lane, S1 2EX.
Wizards of Time is an experience that combines traditional escape room elements with interactive, character led storytelling – You will cast enchantments, learn spells and battle beasts during your time at our School of Wizardry – In comparison to traditional escape rooms it’s a more relaxed experience, with a longer time limit to ensure you make the most of your magical journey!

All game prices are exclusive of the 2.5% booking fee that will be added at checkout.
The Great Escape Game is a live event, so once the booking is confirmed; refunds for cancellations are not accepted, this includes adverse weather conditions such as snow, as games will still run. A booking becomes a no-show and entry will be refused if you arrive late. In this situation we are unable to provide refunds.
If you would like to change the date of your booking more than a month in advance there is no charge. If it is less than a month, the cost is £25 per room. If it is less than a week, changes are not accepted.
We are now a cashless venue, however, we do accept all major cards including Apple Pay.
